a. What is UnPluggd?

A 1-day startup event that is focused on bring entrepreneurial community together. The event will bring 12 Indian startups who have managed to build great business and few of them, even a global brand.

b. When? Where?

Date :July 9th, 2011.
Venue:  Bangalore.

c. Is it a networking meet?

Networking is a by-product of the event and is not the core attraction . If there are more than 10 people, they will talk among themselves – so bring in your business cards, but do come with a much better agenda – i.e. of learning.

d. What is the event format like?

Typically, a presenter (i.e. the startup founder in this case) will present his part of the story – 15 minutes; and the next 10 minutes will be devoted to QnA (by the audience).

In the second half of the day, there will be closed group parallel sessions focused on specific themes. More details later.

e. I am coming from outside the city. Can you help arrange accommodation?

Couple of folks are coming from Mumbai, Goa and Delhi. Please get in touch with us, so that we can arrange something (and you need to let us know asap).

f. What will the registration fee entail?

Entry into all the sessions; and ofcourse we will take care of the food/snacks/coffee etc.

g. Can I pay at the venue?

Well, yes. But we want to minimize the last minute surprises. We suggest you to book your seat right away.

j. Who are the VCs attending?

Pretty much everybody who is in Bangalore (and few firms are coming from Mumbai).

k. Who are the speakers?

Will be announced very shortly. Like all other previous editions, be assured that you will get to listen to some of the most inspiring entrepreneurs.
