FusionCharts is the industry’s leading Rich-Internet charting component, which has over 17,000 customers (including LinkedIn, Microsoft etc) and 330,000 users across 110 countries, including a majority of Fortune 500 companies.
An interesting fact about FusionCharts is that the company hired the first sales person after their 10,000th customers. How did they do it? (Interestingly, Pallav has never been to US till date!). What challenges did they face selling a product from India? Was *small size* an issue?

Pallav started FusionCharts after class 12th and at UnPluggd, he will talk about his startup journey – how the company was started, how he managed to ‘seed fund’, scaling issues, some of the challenges the company faced and most importantly, customer centric approaches his company has built.

Naveen Tewari

Founder, CEO (InMobi)

Naveen is the Chief Executive Officer, Founder and the man in charge of it all. He has been responsible for the overall vision, strategy and execution of InMobi. His view of the growNaveen_Headshot_thumb2th of the mobile ecosystem and leveraging InMobi as a key tenet in developing that mobile ecosystem was the foundation stone on which InMobi was built.

Naveen’s journey started with McKinsey & Company where he worked on developing the go-to-market strategy for a large Indian conglomerate, as it entered the telecom sector. He has also worked with the top management of technology companies on various issues. Later, he joined Charles River Ventures (CRV), a top tier VC firm focusing on early stage investing in software and communications. Naveen worked with CRV on developing its India investment strategy. He also worked briefly with a mobile VoIP startup in Silicon Valley.

Naveen is the Founder and Chairman of a US based non-profit organization, India School Fund (ISF), which has been formed to set up schools in rural India. ISF started in 2006 with only a few Harvard Business School friends and has now grown to have over 50 people across India and US.

Naveen obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT) and has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School (HBS). At HBS, Naveen was the recipient of the “Dean’s Award”, the highest honor for his exceptional leadership and contribution.

Alok Kejriwal

Founder & CEO, Games2Win

Alok co-founded Games2win in 2007, as a new age online games company that specializes in creating entertaining flash games. Games2win has created over 350 original flash games that are played alok-rodinhood_thumb2ongames2win.com, on social media sites as well as thousands of long-tail sites. In just about two years of launch, games2win is amongst the top twenty gaming businesses in the US (and world) as ranked by comScore (current data).

Alok Kejriwal is a new media serial entrepreneur who specializes in launching digital start up’s and making them profitable. He has been successful in building ventures in India, China and the US.

His mobile venture in China – mobile2win was the one of the first in China in 2001 to offer mobile competitions and promotions by pioneering a television to mobile interactive platform. The company was written up as a case study in Stanford Business School and was acquired by the Walt Disney Company in 2006. In India, Alok created contests2win – an advergaming pioneer that is one of the best-known Internet brands in the country.

Alok has successfully raised venture capital from some of the world’s leading VC’s such as Softbank China, Siemens Acceleration, Clearstone Venture Partners and Silicon Valley Bank. His exits include the sale of Mobile2win China to Walt Disney and Mobile2win India to Norwest Venture Capital.

An engineer from the University of Pune, Saloni Malhotra currently spearheads DesiCrew which she founded with Dr.

Jhunjhunwala at TeNeT group, IIT Madras in Jan 2005. She started her career in an interactive media start up, Web Chutney in Delhi. Saloni’s work with DesiCrew has been featured in leading newspapers and magazines across the globe such as BusinessWeek, BusinessToday, The Economic Times, Fast Company, The Hindu, etc. She has been nominated for BusinessWeek’s Asia’s Youngest Entrepreneurs, MTV Youth Icon 2008, E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year 2008 and also facilitated in the presence of the President of India by the CII. Saloni is the founder of DesiCrew and handles Marketing and overall direction of the organization.

Manish Sharma, Printomanish-sharma1_forprint

Manish is responsible for the overall financial performance and strategic direction of Printo.
In 1995, he founded India’s earliest Internet software services firms – DBSIS which was ranked by IDC as the largest Indian player in the web solution space.

Since then, Manish has led market entry and turnaround teams in India, US and the UK. Manish has an MBA from Oxford and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from University of Bombay.
